WGAR is looking for companies to help support its new page on wgar.com for their morning show host Michelle Maloney. Michelle is a HUGE supporter of living green. Her page on wgar.com will support her lifestyle with tips on greening your own home and conserving energy, recycling, going organic and more! This page will be supported on-air with live mentions by Michelle encouraging listeners to visit her site along with :15 prerecorded commercials throughout the week on air and on line. Cleveland’s Green Building Coalition has teamed with mbi | k2m Architecture, Inc. to offer architecture, interior design, and engineering professionals the opportunity to follow the design and construction process of a USGBC Silver certified green building. The program started with a discussion on the importance of sustainable design and responsible practices in construction and the need for adaptive reuse. The program will continue as a series of workshop discussions and demonstrations through the period of an actual renovation of an existing building and adjacent parking lot in the Ohio City neighborhood. Registration for all LEED workshops is done through the USGBC website. Go to www.usgbc.org/workshops - From there click on Education, then Courses, and then Registration. Use the pulldown menu to select the workshop you wish to register for and Search. The final Registration button is to the far right of the workshop entry.
